Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, located off the North West coast of Africa. Its unique climate means it’s pleasantly warm in Winter (typically 22ºC) and not too hot in Summer (typically 28ºC). Our sub-tropical climate, (with no periods of high humidity, no hurricane season, and no rainy season like in the Caribbean or America) is considered to be among the best in the world. The Canary Islands are part of Spain, and as such are the most Southern and Western points in the EC, the currency is the Euro, soon to be the world’s dominant currency.

Spain has been a democracy under King Juan Carlos since the 1970’s, and as such the political situation is extremely stable, unlike the former Eastern Bloc countries, where democracy is very fragile.

The first language in Tenerife is Spanish, closely followed by English, and due to the low tax regime, prices remain much lower than other parts of Europe.

Attractions in Tenerife are endless, the largest water theme park in Europe (Siam Park), the highest mountain in Spain (Mount Teide), and an ocean full of whales and dolphins, with golden sand beaches.
